Kilt Size

Waist this measurement is at the belly button. The top of the kilt should be worn approximately one inch above the belly button or above the crest of the stomach.

Hip or Ledge this measurement is around the hip bones. This measurement is normally larger than the waist.

Length this is best done by two people. The kilt wearer should be standing straight up. The second person, measures from one inch above belly button ( or crest of stomach whichever is higher), to middle of the knee.
When you receive your new kilt, put it on kneel and see that it hangs to one inch above the floor. This is an easy way to check when you are by yourself.
